Why Physical Therapy?
Build Strength, Improve Function, and Stay Pain-Free
Physical therapy is more than just recovery—it’s about regaining control of your body through guided, intentional movement.
Whether you’re recovering from surgery, overcoming an injury, or trying to stay mobile as you age, PT can help you:
Restore joint mobility and movement
Rebuild strength and stability
Prevent future injury
Correct posture and muscle imbalances
Get back to work, sports, or everyday tasks
How Physical Therapy Works With Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care and physical therapy don’t compete—they complete each other.
While chiropractic adjustments restore alignment and nerve communication, physical therapy builds the muscle strength and motor control needed to hold those changes and stay pain-free.
This synergy means:
Faster, longer-lasting results
More comprehensive healing
A plan that works with your body, not just on it
Conditions We Help With
Relief and Recovery from Head to Toe
Common Physical Therapy Cases:
Back pain and neck tension
Sciatica, disc issues, and nerve-related pain
Postural problems and workplace strain
Shoulder, hip, and knee injuries
Sports-related injuries
Surgical rehab and accident recovery
Repetitive use and mobility loss
PT for Every Body: Our care plans are designed for adults, seniors, student-athletes, workers—anyone looking to feel stronger and move better.

What Our Physical Therapy Looks Like
Functional, Personalized, and Progress-Driven
Evaluation & Custom Planning
We start with a full-body movement assessment to understand where pain or dysfunction is coming from. Then, we build a personalized plan based on your goals, timeline, and activity level.
Hands-On + Movement-Based Care
You’ll work with our team on targeted strategies, including:
Guided strength training
Assisted stretching and mobility drills
Neuromuscular re-education
Joint stabilization and posture correction
Ongoing Support & Adjustments
As your body changes, so does your plan. We track progress, reassess regularly, and modify exercises to keep you moving forward—safely and confidently.
Supportive Therapies That Help You Move Better
This is the “build-you-back-stronger” part of care. Once we get things moving better, these tools help you stay that way.
Therapeutic Exercise Prescription – Personalized stretches and strengthening moves based on where you’re weak or tight.
Postural Retraining & Education – We show you how to sit, stand, walk, and move in ways that stop pain from coming back.
Core Stabilization Training – Your core isn’t just abs—it’s your support system. This strengthens it.
Spinal & Joint Mobilization – Gentle guided movements that help joints glide the way they’re supposed to.
Stretching Programs – Helps you stay limber and reduces that “stiff board” feeling.
Balance & Proprioception Exercises – Especially helpful if you’ve had an injury. We get your body’s GPS system working again.
Neuromuscular Re-education – Re-teaches muscles and nerves to work together better—especially after pain throws things off.
Kinesiology Taping for Joint Support – Those colorful strips? They’re not just for show. They help guide movement and reduce swelling.
Functional Movement Training – Everyday movement, optimized. Helps you lift, bend, and twist better.
Myofascial Release & Soft Tissue Therapy – More muscle TLC to get tight spots moving again.
IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) – Fancy name, simple concept: we use tools to work out stubborn soft tissue problems.
Rehabilitation for Specific Injuries – Whether it’s your shoulder, knee, or lower back—we target the issue and rebuild from there.

"I am very appreciative of what Walsh Wellness Center has done for me. I had hip injury, surgery, and physical therapy before coming to Walsh Wellness Center, but I still had issues with my hip. Dr. Pat listened to my needs and situation, and his chiropractic therapy has helped stabilize and strengthen my hip. Thank you for the specialized assistance that I needed.
